| Thomas Granville |

Thomas Granville is our Chief Executive Officer and also sits on the board. He served as our board chairman from January 2004 until he accepted the CEO position in April 2005. Mr. Granville has 27 years of experience as a CEO and general partner in contracting, service, real estate and other start up investment entities. He was a former 10-year past president of the National Elevator Industry Inc., a national trade and labor bargaining association. Mr. Granville also served 15 years as treasurer, 10 years as the president of the National Elevator Industry Inc., a trade association that represents elevator manufacturers and contractors where his duties included labor negotiations for national contracts and oversight duties to a $2.3 billion national pension fund. Mr. Granville is a 1967 graduate of Canisus College where he received a BA in Business Administration.

| Charles Trego is our Chief Financial Officer and most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Minrad International, an Amex-listed pharmaceutical and medical device company in Orchard Park, NY. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2008, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Elmira, NY based Hardinge, Inc, a Nasdaq-listed global machine tool company ($327M in annual revenue) and from 2003 to 2005 he was Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Latham, NY based Latham International ($180M in annual revenue), a privately held manufacturer and marketer of swimming pool components. After taking a degree in accounting from the University of Dayton in 1972 and achieving his CPA designation in 1973, Trego earned an MBA from the University of Dayton in 1978. |

| Philip Baker is our Chief Operating Officer and prior to joining Axion was with Santa Fe Springs, CA based Trojan Battery Company from 1997 to 2009. From 2006 to 2009 he was Senior Vice President and General Manager of a new battery facility for which he led all the phases of development and operation in Sandersville, GA. Baker guided the lead-acid battery plant from negotiations and permitting forward, and is considered to be an expert in quality control and documentation, productivity and the maximization of uptime, automation and the management of environmental issues. Prior to Sandersville, Baker served from 2001 to 2005 at the Trojan plant in Lithonia, GA as Senior Vice President and General Manager, where he executed a turn-around in leadership, quality and output, introduced Kaizen events and Six-Sigma tools and improved productive output by 20% in critical bottleneck areas. Before Lithonia, he worked for Trojan in Santa Fe Springs as Director of Operations and was with privately held Wyomissing, PA based Glen-Gery Corporation. He began his career at the Houston Brick & Tire Company after taking a degree in Ceramic Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. |

| Vani Dantam is our Senior Vice President/Busines Development, Sales & Marketing. He was previously Vice President/Business Development & Sales for NYC-based Ener1 Inc., where he built a significant pipeline of battery customers and developed comprehensive quotes for new global customers in transportation, defense and in grid based energy storage. Prior to joining Ener1, Mr. Dantam worked with Pendleton IN-based Remy International in a series of increasingly responsible positions, reaching Global Director/Hybrid & Traction Motor Sales & Business Development. He served through two LBOs and an IPO at Remy, and worked on numerous overseas acquisitions and joint ventures in various countries. Prior to his tenure with Remy International, he served at the Delco Remy diision of General Motors in positions as varied as product design engineer to program manager for batteries, starters, alternators and ABS systems. He also had other business responsibilities that included product licensing and international customer development. Mr. Dantam holds an MBA in finance and International Business from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, and a BE in Metallurgical Engineering from Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, UP India. Additionally, he has a Quality Engineering Certification from GMI in Flint, MI. He also spent a year at Trinity College, UK, as a Churchill Scholar. |
