Axion has been instrumental in the development of a standardized dynamic cycling algorithm to quantify the long-term dynamic charge acceptance performance of batteries in micro-hybrid applications. The most formalized version of this testing approach exists as the Deutsche Elektrotechnische Kommission (DKE) EN-50341-6 test specification. The test battery is discharged to 80% SOC and cycled.
